This striking example benefitted from a program of works several years ago by marque specialists Sawfords in Berkshire, at a cost of over £20,000.
This included upgrading the car to rack and pinion steering, the fitting of air conditioning, a new alternator, suspension improvements as well as a stainless steel exhaust.
Externally, chrome wire wheels have been fitted alongside Coombs Spats and power comes through a fully overhauled engine.
Other sympathetic improvements include a ‘face-off’ stereo and a Moto Lita steering wheel.
Presented in sound condition throughout and with a reasonable service history, this iconic British touring car carries a full MoT test certificate and its original buff log book
