Left Hand Drive
The Volkswagen Karmann Ghia (known as type 14 internally) is a sports car marketed as a 2+2 coupe from 1955 until 1974 and also as a convertible from 1957. Volkswagen capitalised on the great popularity of the Beetle by following it with a sporty sister: the Karmann Ghia. It reuses the chassis and mechanics of the Beetle. The body was penned by Luigi Segre from Ghia in Turin, Italy, and the bodywork was hand-built by the renowned German firm Karmann.
More than 445,000 Karmann Ghias were produced in Germany over the car’s production life.
This Karmann Ghia Coupe was UK registered in 2004, and comes with original owner’s manual, wallet, sales brochure, old UK MoTs, invoices and various other documents.
