The Volvo Amazon was marketed from 1956 to 1970
The Amazon shared the wheelbase, tall posture and high H-point seating of its predecessor, the PV444/544. In 1962, Volvo introduced a two-door version, a five-door wagon, and the new B18 engine
This Volvo Amazon 131 two-door from January 1968 had been found sitting idle on a farm before being purchased by the previous owner. It has the B18 series 1,780cc four-cylinder engine with single carb driving through a four-speed non-over drive gearbox.
It has an old window sticker showing it was supplied new in Cornwall.
We are offering this Volvo Amazon 131 as a restoration project. Essentially sound, it does require work on the foot wells and boot floor but the car starts and runs.
